A Better Approach From the Beginning
Happy Earth Pest Control was founded by Cody Johnson in 2014 with a belief that pest control could be effective while remaining thoughtful about the people, pets and places being protected.
After managing for some of the nation’s largest pest-control companies, Cody saw treatments applied too broadly and in areas where they were not always necessary. He knew there had to be a smarter way, one that began with understanding the property instead of treating every home or business the same.
Why Happy Earth Was Founded
Every property has its own combination of construction, landscaping, moisture, soil and surrounding environmental conditions. Those differences influence which pests are present, where they hide and how they enter a structure. Even properties located on opposite sides of the same town can face very different pest pressures.
Cody believed proper pest control should account for those differences. A careful inspection could reveal what was happening, why it was happening and what the property actually needed. Treatment could then be focused on solving the problem without relying on unnecessary applications.
That idea became the foundation of Happy Earth Pest Control.
Building Something Better
Cody developed an approach that combines innovative, naturally derived and conventional products with practical methods tailored to the property. Rather than following the same routine at every stop, Happy Earth considers the pest, the structure and the people or animals who use the space.
The goal was never simply to eliminate pests. It was to create a service customers could feel good about inviting into their homes and businesses, one delivered with care, sound judgment and respect for the surrounding environment.
Proud to Call Central Texas Home
Happy Earth eventually made its home in Waco, Texas. Today, we serve homeowners and businesses throughout Central Texas with a growing understanding of the pests, weather patterns and property conditions found across our region.
Although the company has grown since 2014, the belief behind it remains unchanged: every property deserves to be understood, every treatment should have a purpose and every customer should be treated with care.
